I am a Registered Architect in the State of New York, located in Los Angeles, California, with 30 years of experience in Architecture, design and construction. I have worked on a variety of projects from residential, sports and fitness, medical and commercial.
I have over 30 years success record of overseeing the design and construction of multimillion-dollar buildings; projects for public and private-sector clients. My experience includes design, producing construction documents, architectural detailing, reviewing documents, preparing documents for coordination and review, coordinating and managing contractors on a job site as a Project Manager. My experience is backed by strong credentials and a proven history of on-time and high-quality project assignments and completions.
My professional career started in the New York office of Skidmore Owning and Merrill, as an Assistant Architect. I worked on the Chase Manhattan Bank Plaza in New York, the Chase Building Design in Spain, and the New Citi Corporation Building in Queens New York. My primary role was architectural detailing, in which I am very accomplished.
My experience embodies over 15 years of college level teaching. I was a full-time Professor are the State University of Farmingdale in New York. In 1985, I began as a part-time evening College Instructor and then was appointed as a full time Assistant Professor. I taught courses in Architectural Design, Hand Drafting, Computer Drafting, Construction Documents, Project Management, History of Architecture, and Material and Methods of Construction. I have been a part-time evening time Instructor at Westwood College and ITT College in California. I taught Design and Computer Software, which included AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor. I consider myself an expert in Revit Architecture.
Teaching has helped me improve and retain my graphic, oral, communication and organizational skills. Teaching has enabled me to keep current with respect to the current computer software in the profession.
My construction background is in residential and commercial construction. I have hands on experience in residential wood framing. I come from a family background in construction; residential construction and renovations. I am knowledgeable in steel framing and reinforced concrete construction and methods. I have work with both Architects, Consultants, Engineers and Contractors.
Since 2006, I have been working on a part-time basis as a Consultant in California and New York working with Architects, Engineers, Consultants and Architectural Students teaching and offering technical support in Revit Architecture and Revit Structures. I teach Revit software and assist in the schematic design, design development and construction documentation of projects.
I have traveled most of the east coast and have lived in New York, California and the United States Virgin Islands.
